A mask from every Canadian to keep up the fight against COVID-19
EDMONTON (Alberta), June 24, 2021 – The world is still in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the need for masks and other personal protective equipment is still at an all time high. PRIMED, a leading Canadian manufacturer and supplier of PPE has pledged to donate 38 million masks, a mask from every Canadian, to help countries around the world in their fight against COVID-19. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, PRIMED has been focused and successful in ensuring a consistent and secure supply of PPE across the Canadian healthcare system.

This donation will be supported by Traffic Tech, who will pack all the masks, prepare them for shipping, and manage all the logistics associated with the donation.
GlobalMedic will be facilitating the distributions to healthcare workers around the world. 20 million masks will be distributed in India to help the country’s fight against the virus. Additionally, masks will be sent to Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Syria and Yemen. Masks will also be distributed to developing countries in the Caribbean and South America including the Bahamas, Dominica, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and Guyana.
On Thursday June 24, 2021 PRIMED, GlobalMedic and Traffic Tech will be hosting an event to launch the start of the project.
The Minister of Transport, the Honourable Omar Alghabra will join PRIMED, GlobalMedic and Traffic Tech to acknowledge the importance of this donation to the Global Community.
